Gearing up for some adventure ✨

I’m reminiscing on old photos today and I’m grateful that Lucas and I have the same interests in travel and adventure.

Its been a while since we’ve had a trip away (thanks to covid) but next week, Lucas, myself and our two boys are going to be crammed into a camper van and travelling around North Queensland for 10 days.

I’m really excited because the last time we went on a proper holiday was almost 2 years ago with luxury type accommodation and one toddler.

This trip is a little different to the last, as we now have two toddlers and no comfort of an accommodation room.

Our choice of course!

I’m a little nervous but in saying all of that I’m really looking forward to the sense of adventure it’s going to give us.

It’s just straight up wheels and lush locations.

Roman will be experiencing a lot of firsts, like the aeroplane ride, seeing gushing waterfalls, walking in rainforests and seeing his parents in complete holiday mode.

Those things, I really look forward to seeing in his eyes.

I feel like life should be so much more of this, being able to wander and escape the confides of everyday life.

And for most of us, it can feel impossible to do because of the grinding that must happen in order to even make it happen.

I feel travel for our family gives us time to reflect, enjoy and simply just be.

And who are we to not surrender to those feelings?

Sometimes, we just gotta make it happen!

So I’ll leave you to ponder, What does travel do for you?

Is it time you booked that trip?
